Ursa is the tritagonist of Open Season 3. She is Boog's girlfriend, a former member of the Maslova Family Circus, Elliot's sister-in law, Giselle's adoptive sister, Gisela, Giselita, and Elvis' adoptive aunt, and Doug's former love interest.

Background

Personality

Ursa is sweet, friendly, caring, generous, brave, and independent. Ursa was a bit annoyed with Boog having a romantic interest in her. However, she soon manages to warm up to him.

Trivia

• Ursa is sometimes thought to be the secondary tritagonist of the film. This isn't true as Ursa appeared more than Giselle.
• Ursa was rumored to be voiced by Gina Torres. However, it was revealed afterwards that Melissa Sturm would voice Ursa.
• It is possible that she might be a Eurasian brown bear, since the subspecies is native to Russia, the homeland of which she hails from.
  • If that was the case, that would make her a possibly successfully integrated invasive species in Timberline National Forest since there is little distinction with Eurasian brown bears and grizzly bears
  • It would also make her and Boog’s relationship a second, and more subtle example of an interspecies romance.
